@kyle that's also an option, although it does leak information about your implementation, and I don't think I would want to advertise a link that always gave a definite error code - anyone accessing that URL (eg http://http4k.org/500) could fill up your logs with 500 error responses which might mask actual problems. There would also be effects on caching or SEO that needed to be considered.
