Maybe copy paste of some features would be fine if you don't care about compatibility between libraries. But for this it's should be already decoupled enough to copy paste and remove unnecessary dependencies.
But my point, if you can easily copy paste some part of the library because all the components are not connected. Why do not publish them as separate dependencies
