Ther si no side by side comparison, really depends if u want have the tons of proxies in ur runtime or not. Definitely spring is good for fast development but really when u start going towards framework like http4k , its more about functional programing where everything is a function.
I can really say try the http4k, u might feel its a bit extra work when u compare it with spring but its better when it comes to long term maintainence of applications
