03/04/2019, 3:00 PMkotlin-compiler (branch 1.3.30) running in a composite build and I could use some help 🙂
settings.gradle.kts (I use Gradle 5.2.1, Kotlin 1.3.21)
includeBuild("../kotlin") {
dependencySubstitution {
substitute(module("org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-compiler")).with(project(":include:kotlin-compiler"))
}
}
Create separate module per source set is disabled (IDEA-181187)
Delegate IDE build/run actions to gradle is enabled
Now trying to build one of my project's modules from IntelliJ IDEA:
Could not determine the dependencies of task ':fluid-json-annotation-processor:compileTestJava'.
> Could not resolve all task dependencies for configuration ':fluid-json-annotation-processor:testCompileClasspath'.
> Could not find org.jetbrains.kotlin:util:1.3.21.
Searched in the following locations:
(my own project's repos here)
Required by:
project :fluid-json-annotation-processor > org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-bom:1.3.21 > project :kotlin:include:kotlin-compiler
(… and way more)
For some reason Gradle only uses my project's repositories to resolve `kotlin-compiler`'s dependencies rather than the repositories defined in the kotlin Gradle project.
Is that a quirk with Gradle composite builds or is that expected?
