By looking at https://github.com/JetBrains/kotlin/blob/129fad6adedabcd846f1f489b7c8157dc72cf89e/compiler/cli/cli-common/src/org/jetbrains/kotlin/cli/common/modules/ModuleXmlParser.java#L41-L54 it probably just have the src dirs (and output too) as all classpaths are passed as normal compiler arguments
