For reference @vanniktech is talking about issue https://github.com/arturbosch/detekt/issues/1200
It remains to be seen how much effort is needed for this to get working and if we really consider Android Lint for type resolution.
I would also be interested how such a rule conversion to the Android Lint API could look like.
Maybe @vanniktech could enlighten me here. 🙂
