There is Junit "automatic signup" via resources file. It is a feature, but to enable it you need to pass some stuff as -Dvariable=true. May be recent Junit relaxed this requirement or you just have it somehow enabled it. I dont know. Do not remeber all the details. If you'd like I can check all facts :-)
