Good news everybody - I’ve released 1.6.0. It compiles and passes its tests under JDK 9, 10, 11, and tightens up the annotations model to be (probably more) safe. Thanks in particular to @robstoll for support while I get my head around the nitty gritty of how variance should be applied.
