That’s where I am too, except for not using Spring! I don’t think I have any easy way of implementing JUnit 5 extension support - the rules are JUnit 4 and I think that I do support them. Let me write some documentation about how I think it might work and then see if anyone can try it out on an existing JUnit 4 / Spring project.
