Since the new Kotlin IR infra is under work it is expected that the WebAssembly backend work could append only when it will be ready (Kotlin 1.4 I guess). I prefer to wait that with a proper high potential WASM backend than patching current Kotlin/Native basic support which is IMO not a good way long term.
