It states 1.3 c is not a function does anyone get why ?

Clearly the set definition is not present in all cases.

For 1.3 b
I understand

f(x) = 2 ^ x

So for A = {0,1} where elements of A € Whole Numbers

B = {1} where the elements € to Whole Numbers

So it is validated !
