Hi there 🖖 I'm an Android Developer with an experience in the industry around 5 years. I was looking to the side of Kotlin almost from the beginning of my career. However, unfortunately, I started really working with Kotlin only a year or so ago. My new interest is Machine Learning and I'm trying to switch the field of my job to research. In particular I'm interested in applying ML to Music technologies. That's why I'm a fan of Google's Magenta project. I tried my best at Wolfram Summer School last summer hoping to get a job but didn't workout. So I'm thinking about my old plan - going for a second degree as initial step in the career switch. I thought about PhD but it could be too much, too hard...thus I'm considering a masters degree for a year as the best option. If you have time I'd love to hear your opinions on my questions: Do you think it's reasonable to go study? Or should I study harder on my own and apply for entry level jobs? Thank you.
