For those following progress we figured out how to generate synth descriptors for IDEA automatically which will benefit all compiler plugins developed with arrow meta. I have higher kinds and type classes mostly working with nice highlighting in IDEA automatically based on the transformations produced by those two plugins. Soon we will integrate the prototype in Arrow and refactor arrow to remove kapt in favor of compiler plugins
