I would be careful with the 1.1.0-alpha04/05, I have currently some breakings on my app : https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/202172885 (with a dropdown menu, with a dialog, also having a dialog button that go to another screen and "hide" the dialog in the same click cause a pending recomposition crash)
