My experience with kotlin and jetpack so far is, it's way tougher than the other two. One of the big obstacles is the crazy amount of bracket/brace/parenthesis cruft in the language, and the extremely poor error reporting in Android Studio. The positives are that AS seems to be doing great work with integration of Kotlin and JC into the tool. So, it's got my attention.
