Running into issues with resolving common code in Android Studio - https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/231701341

The only related thing in the IDE logs is:

WARN - e.project.sync.idea.ModuleUtil - Unknown artifact name: commonMain

Does that mean something to anyone here who can point me in the right direction towards resolving this?
