AS4.1C9 is the first version which builds upon JetBrains IDEA 2020.1 release. There are some flaws in upgrading to and installing this version. Recommend to wait until next release, if it isn't urgent what you have problems with.

Some remedy tip:
1. For the "Missing essential plugin: org.jetbrains.android": delete or rename the '%APPDATA%\Google\AndroidStudioPreview4.1' folder. Do NOT import any legacy configs from previous version via startup !
2. Fire up an older version (where you know your settings work) and export them there. Import them into AS4.1C9. Should work for the most of the settings.
