Is there a way to get syntax highlighting in android studio for swift files?

It is not possible out of the box in AndroidStudio. And we officially don't have such kind of plugins for AndroidStudio.

Previously it was possible with another JetBrains IDE called AppCode.

At current moment - there are no official solution from JetBrains to do so.
But we really understand this kind of problems... 🤞

There is this experimental plugin for support in IntelliJ IDEA. But it's early-bird access only and doesn't have a build that supports the latest 2023.2 IDE version. Maybe the plugin will be available in the future.
