Beats me. I just know that that's the place for it. I think the original intention was for the channel to be about anything relating to the Kotlin slack (e.g. voting on integrations, creating/removing channels, etc.).

Hmmm. <#C0B8W32VA|> on a programming slack would imply meta programming or sonesuch.

I couldn't see anything in <https://kotlinlang.org/community/slackccugl.html|the CoC> about users having to use <#C09222272|> or <#C0B8W32VA|> or <#C01TYDR4X5Y|> to report issues. I don't think it really matters.

Admins aren’t necessarily in other channels (they aren’t in <#C09222272|>); seems like they have an uncommunicated expectation that <#C0B8W32VA|> would be used.
