if you are so irritated by compose, then perhaps you should create your own UI framework and use it and leave the rest of us alone. After all, no one is forcing you to use compose, you can always use xml or like i said earlier, write your own.

So if you were given half of a banana, vs an empty plate, u'd eat the half banana. Compose is a UNIFIED framework, and it far surpasses XML, just cuz its not great does not mean its the same as the standard xml poopoo. If u read my post in the compose channlel ull see i actually quite like the framework

If you like the framework then why are you using suck profane language against it. People have worked their ass off to create this framework, the least you could do is to respect their hard work. Compose is a free product, you aren't being charged for it, and most of all, it is open source. You have no right to use such vile language to undermine the hard work of people who are far more intelligent than you. Like i said, you can create your own framework.

If you go to a restaurant and have bad food, even if you did not pay for it... you can complain about it... thats the great thing. People can have their own opinion on if something is good or not and people can trash on food they dont like. Im not swearing at people but the artist and the art are different. No need to be overly sensitive. Also you have no idea how its like to ALWAYS be in the position of using something for more niche use cases. Everything in my life is like this. So i have a short temper yes but its cuz i have had to deal with so much shit, weahter its poor docs, stupid google being a greedy corperation, or other coorps not letting me do what i want, my life is never straightforward, so yeah ill get pissed

@Rafs Saying "if you don't like it, shut up and go make your own" is utterly useless hyperbole. It the kind of mindset that you see all over the most toxic open source projects and needs to stop.

@Rohan Sampat (Rom4ster) Your reaction is not the same as complaining about bad food. In your own words you quite like the framework, but ran into a situation where a particular component is not yet available on all platforms, so you came to the public slack, created an offensive account (name and tag), and started screaming in the most public channel at the top of your lungs about how awful this whole * system is. That's more along the lines of going to a restaurant, enjoying your meal, then finding out this particular location doesn't happen to have Dr. Pepper, so you run into the kitchen, grab the cooking staff, drag them onto the restaurant floor, and proceed to scream at them and berate them in front of everyone, using the most fowl language you can muster.

That's how I see it at least. If I'm off the mark (for either of you) I apologize.
