You have JBake that uses Java under the hood. No support for kotlinx-html, but it does support many other Java template engines.
I’ve used it to generate roboquant.org (the source of that website is also on GitHub).

But I have to say, there seems not much future development on JBake. So I’m not sure I would pick it again.
