Whose genius idea was it to remove the pause button from the default icons in material 3. Whoever did it should get a darwin award

It's available in the material icons extended series I believe.
And although feedback is more than welcome, there is no need to be insulting.

People don't seem to realize that having direct access to the folks who develop these frameworks and tools is a privilege. Look at the Apple community to know what I mean. It takes the same number of keystrokes to ask the same question in a polite way. Your chances of getting actual responses are better. Why one would throw away this privilege with such a show of disrespect is beyond me. What one gains by being so righteous - I just don't get it.

What I don’t understand is how such obviously rude people do not just get instantly banned from the channel 🤷

Problem is this question-answer loop is the same every time. Some people will tell them to be respectful, others will skip that drama and get straight to the answer. From my experience, such people don't really care about feedback. They skim over messages for answers, and if they find them they leave. If they don't get an answer, they get even more angry. The textbox, to them, is mostly just an outlet for ranting.
If only everyone would stop answering, hopefully that would teach them something. But some folks may even have an obligation to answer, given that they work on tools/platforms themselves.

imagine getting mad at people for helping a developer out. You people are insane... And by the way its not like im not grateful for the help either, We continused this convo in another thread and I thanked him for the help. Imagine feeling so entitled that you think someone should not get help because you dont like their way of typing a question. And yes its confusing. The play button is there but the pause button isnt? Of couse someone would be upset at that. Some people seem to know that this framework is not yet the most userfriendly in terms of tutorials, resources and docs, and realize that some people who are used to more well documented and used frameworks may find that frustrating. They choose to help because its the right thing to do, and i fully support roasting someone over a rudely typed question while also giving them help but giving out help and knowledge is sacred Also you guys think this is rude? You tried going on any other social media platforms?

I don't think engaging in a conversation with you is going to lead anywhere.

@John Dior I have seen (and received) worse abuse on other social media platforms, that doesn’t mean what you said isn’t rude.
