Hi, no one is talking about the 20 testers requirement for new accounts? I think they should remove that requirement...
not kotlin but kotlin colored 2
How is a person who is starting out and has the hope of publishing his first app going to find 20 people who accepts to test his applications for two weeks?
I think is the worst step google has done with Android in the entire history of Google Play.
To help developers reap these benefits, developers with newly created personal Play Console accounts will soon be required to test their apps with at least 20 people for a minimum of two weeks before applying for access to production.

I don't know if anyone from google is reading this, but... seriously, you must remove that requirement

I agree; This will be very bad for new developers. (Students etc)
Google believes this is needed to make sure there won’t be any more untested and spam apps. But I’m not sure this ‘solution’ works for that ‘problem’.

Nobody is talking about it in this workspace because it’s for the Kotlin programming language and not anything related to Google or play store requirements.

Maybe do you know a similar slack community but dedicated to Google or Play Store? @Chrimaeon this is the community with most android developers I know, specially in the #android channel

thank you @Chrimaeon I already tryed it in the 3 slack groups of those links with no luck, It seems that here is the bigger android community with more active people, in this channel with 54.000 android interested persons, but I understand that this is a kotlin related community and is not the best place to talk about google play requirements
well, once people start having the problem of being impossible to find 20 testers in 14 consecutive days (without paying), we will see the problems of this requirement
