Just a random thought: As we all know, Apple likes to keep everything closed source and it likes to build walls, what do you think about how Apple would see Kotlin Multiplatform and its progress? I'm not an iOS expert but I'm just thinking whether there are any doors Apple can close for other languages being multiplatform? (I'm hoping that won't happen)

It would not be in their best interest to break apps that work well, so they're not going to do it. The only thing they can do is make new useful APIs that work only in Swift, but that's not preventing you from using Kotlin for everything else and doing interop.

Same thought has crossed my mind before too... There's no way to really limit compiling the current apple languages though, so it would take a long-term & drastic shift to make multiplatform builds conceptually impossible 🤞
