Are there any tools or github actions that diff and display the dependency tree changes between commits? For instance when a dependency is upgraded, I'd like to see all of the transitive dependencies that are changing.

Using Dependency Locking, you get the diffs for free since the lockfile must be checked into git (though it's in a flat list, not a tree view). Plus, it will break the build of something changes unexpectedly

You can also write the result of ./gradlew dependencies to a file checked into the repo for the full tree view.
