Great stuff! By the way, I saw somewhere that Kotlin is using other proposals beyond GC (e.g. exception handling). Are these already implemented in Chrome/Firefox too?
d
Is there any statement from Apple regarding when the Safari extension might be coming?
s
All Wasm proposals used by Kotlin are implemented in Chrome and Firefox.

Yay! Btw, anyone know when we might see Wasm GC in Safari?
🤷 2
They don't seem to have much of a public roadmap afaict

Aside from GC, only EH, which is supported and turned on by default in all major browsers (Chrome & Chromium-based ones, Firefox, Safari)

Safari case is more complicated. There is no information when it will be available in stable Safari, but there is active development in JavaScriptCore (JS & Wasm VM inside Safari) https://twitter.com/bashorov/status/1727008336808395212
