Is your aim to have the library be used in JS or in Kotlin/JS?

I write the library in Kotlin with Kotlin Multiplatform, and it should then be usable from Javascript and the JVM

Wow, thanks for that thread link! The plugin <https://github.com/ForteScarlet/kotlin-suspend-transform-compiler-plugin> solves that problem and even improves the API when used for Java
