If people can't bother to read the server description and the channel description, what makes you think that another layer of reading will make a difference? :slightly_smiling_face:

Slack ux is terrible in this regard. The channel description is tiny and out of the way. On mobile it doesn't even show up unless you tap on details. So of course people don't read it.
