is there a Known bug in the very latest `Apollo Kotlin runtime`  `4.0.0-beta.4` ? every time I synchronise it's stuck on `Loading Apollo Kotlin configuration`  for a loooong time, it takes like 10 minutes as a gradle task by itself, although most compilation tasks are finished way earlier than this

I wonder if this could be related to not using the normalised caches

Hi! This is the IDE plugin communicating with your project's Gradle configuration. It shouldn't take that long although it can take a while if you have lots of AK modules. 

In any case, this is unrelated to the runtime, and to using the cache or not.

You may also try the <https://github.com/apollographql/apollo-kotlin/tree/main/intellij-plugin#weekly-snapshots|plugin's snapshots>, in which this process no longer shows up in the UI, for less distraction.

ahh the culprit is the plugin ! you're very right, I almost forgot about the plugin. It's really interrupting my flow so I'll temporarily disable it for now I guess. And yes, we have lots and lots of gargantuan libs and standalone AK modules
