The new version of Arrow is finally here! 1.2.3 aims to be the last 1.x.x version of Arrow (except bug fixes, and potentially backports of important APIs).

Out of curiosity: on the release page you wrote

Why did you decide to call it 1.2.3 instead of 1.3.0 then? That seems like a sensible idea to immediately clue everyone in that there's more than just a few bug fixes.
