Does Jewel handle multiline TextFields (like JTextArea)? Also, is cut and paste supported? My plugin has a form where user may enter or paste templated source code.

Yes, see the TextArea samples.

Copy-paste is currently handled by Compose for Desktop, we don't have any customisation on top
