Is there any relatively straightforward way to handle redirects in desktopMain? Im looking to acheive similar functionality to deep-links in Android; and this is just to make testing stuff easier for me - so I dont mind hacky solutions as long as I can create them with code.

This is not straightforward, but I would have look at starting embedded server on localmachine, which listens redirects and opens app from tray
