Hi everyone, I'm Florinda Hasani, a Computer Engineering student in my final year of studies. I am currently on a 6-month Android Development Internship, which will conclude at the end of May. I am interested in contributing to open-source projects as I want to build something that someone else will use and ease their life in development, and the GSoC seemed like a good idea. A friend of mine actually recommended the GSoC to me as she was a participant herself and told me great things about it. I looked at the list of the project ideas, knowing my abilities and talking with some friends, I thought the best project for me would be the "Support Android target in kotlinx-benchmark". I'll try to search for older messages in which the mentors have given advice on this particular project, but my question is, would this be a good experience for me? I think my hands-on experience in Android Development, together with medium difficulty projects and training courses from the official developers.android website have given the necessary skills for this project. But I still know that this project will have its challenges. I'm always willing to learn new interesting things. @Abduqodiri Qurbonzoda [JB] If you have any advice or guidance about the proposal, please can you share it. Thank you.

Hi @Florinda Hasani, I am glad you found the project interesting. > would this be a good experience for me? Perhaps I can’t directly answer that question. However, here I’ve outlined some steps one can take to determine whether the project is interesting to them. A deeper understanding of the project could also help you decide if it’s something you can handle.
