I'm using an icon with no background as a tray icon, unfortunately the background blends as white in Ubuntu, is there a way to fix this?

Does it only happen on Linux?

@elect on Mac I use

System.setProperty("apple.awt.enableTemplateImages", "true")

it changes the color of the vector to be the same as the other icons and gets nicely updated depending on light and dark mode.

maybe it works for linux too

the docs also say it's MacOSX only 😞
