I had to switch to the beta version to adopt a change made there but also slightly concerned that the 3.0.0 beta release is quite far behind now.

Yes, I also switched to 3.0.0-beta-1 because of some 3.0.0-specific feature (instead of looking for workarounds), but I didn't expect that there will be practically no further release :(

Hey @Norbi, sorry for the delay. We're working hard on the 3.0.0 release. The main blocker was kotlinx-io API breaking changes and we're migrating to the new API at the moment. We're amining to release ktor 3.0.0 along with Kotlin 2.0. The 3.0.0-beta-2 is almost ready and should be around next week.

Yep, it's already merged in main and available in eap builds

@e5l I also don’t want to seem inpatient but just wondering if beta 2 might be out this week? I want to be able to publish a kamel build including wasm. (that doesn’t require consumers to also add the eap repo to their project)

We have a big PR about io ready, but most likely it will be merged only next week. After that we’re making second beta (also including kotlin 2.0.0 rc2)

@e5l i can see the new 3.0.0-beta-2 release. Change log says Ktor client for Kotlin/Wasm (KTOR-5587) feature is in this release. But i can’t see any wasm-js artifacts published to central yet. JVM and js artifacts are already published.
