I've seen that this point has been removed from the kotlin multiplatform development roadmap:

Make it possible to build and publish a KMP library without having a Mac machine.

Does that mean it's not planned anymore or maybe technically impossible?

Fwiw, Ive published plenty of KMP libraries with Windows without any issues, maybe its a non-issue?

No, it's definitely still an issue

I imagine there's a YourTrack ticket about it that would contain any status info.

Oh, I should have clarified, this is about being able to build and publish KMP libraries to all targets, which includes iOS, which is not currently possible!

@Julius The only way to do that without a Mac is with a Mac in the cloud. I imagine you could set up a Github Action to do it.

The question is not how to do it today. We all know how to do it today. The question is about why Zig-like cross-compilation was removed from the roadmap.
