My team at Workiva is hiring a full-time backend Kotlin developer: job posting • Location: USA, Canada; remote. This position is only open to candidates in the USA or Canada. No visa support. Sorry. • The post title says "Senior", but that is vague and everybody has different ideas of what "Senior" means. If you have a few years experience and are interested, please apply; you will be considered. • The code base is mostly Kotlin, with some legacy Java that we are converting to Kotlin as we touch it. • Salary range 102,000 USD - 173,000 USD • The post says up to 15% travel. If you want to have 0% travel, that is completely acceptable. • Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss. I will be at KotlinConf, so we could find a time to meet and chat.

sorry I just want to get a better understanding of the job posting. When you say kotlin for backend, what framework will be used? is it something like spring boot or kotlin ktor for the backend. I just want to get some clarification on that, thanks.

We are using Netty and a custom extension of Apache Thrift.
This team does not use Spring, or any dependency injection framework. Some other teams at Workiva do use Spring Boot.
