The http4k team are off to Copenhagen tomorrow for KotlinConf 2024! No stand this year for us, but we'll be around the venue modelling some swag that's up for grabs while it lasts! πŸ™ƒ If you're lucky enough to also be going, come and see us and say hello, and definitely come to auditorium 15 to see some secrets of the http4k codebase at 1615 on day 1! http4k πŸ›«...... πŸ‡©πŸ‡° K

Will someone record your talk? I'm considering http4k for our codebase at work, but now I hear there are secrets πŸ˜… I actually like http4k for being so transparent!
(in contrast of SpringBoot with its annotation-based programming)

Lol. If you're looking for an intro the our talks at KotlinConf 2018 and 2023 might be a better intro. This talk is about the techniques that we have used to make the API as simple and reusable as possible. That said - we try to make everything as simple as possible, even if it doesn't quite work as you'd most expect πŸ˜‰ Oh, and yes it will be recorded (and streamed live if you are around tomorrow πŸ™ƒ)

Mine is about optimizing cold starts on AWS Lambda with http4k, so not so introductory either.

I'll have a look: thanks.

Kotlin's Elegant Deceptions - very nice title to your talk πŸ‘ If it's live-streamed, then I'll tune in

There is another recording of it already but it's also not up yet. I'll see how it goes tomorrow and recommend the one that makes me look the best πŸ˜‰
