is https://github.com/JetBrains/create-react-kotlin-app a dead project? I just tried running it and when the project builds it tells me to update to IR backend but I can't find out how- Looking at the dates on the commits, I'm fairly certain this is a relic of a bygone time, boo.

create-react-app is considered dead in the React world too IIRC
