Hi everyone! I recently started working for a small company looking to build a Managed Serverless Cloud that offers a cost-effective alternative to The Big Three. By “serverless”, I mean “don’t think about servers”.

The aim would be to offer a simple billing model where you only pay for the raw resources (compute, storage, and bandwidth) to prioritize developer focus on code. We are at a super early stage and are looking to chat with developers to simply get the thoughts on their hosting preferences, such as what do people look for in a hosting provider?

Are any developer friends here willing to chat?

How is this different to AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Run, depending on the use-case? :thinking_face: 

<@U01JRLZH77T> There’s probably confusion about the term “serverless”. While we do plan on offering functions-as-a-service (like Lambda), we use the term “serverless” more broadly such as “don’t think about servers”, which includes things like managed containers.
