well, i just lost 2 hours of work on a particularly difficult rebase because I thought intelliJ's "abort rebase" button was a stop-running program button, pressed it and hit confirm absent mindedly, and lost all my work. Bummer.

check the IntelliJ local history, usually you can find remainders there of the situation from before the rebase

yeah this might work, its 75 files and i changed them in p4merge not intellij but it seems intellij did cache them.
