is it at least planned to support ConstraintLayout on Desktop at some point ? there isn't even any mention of an effort or a hint with Roadmap. IMO this would have been a very high value core feature of multiplatform API, desktop target especially

On desktop you could just adapt the Java version to not use the Android APIs, whilst keeping it in Java.
