Yes, power-assert works for multiplatform projects. However, you may need to <https://kotlinlang.org/docs/power-assert.html#configure-the-plugin|configure> `includedSourceSets` if you have a non-standard source set configuration. There is also a known problem with <https://kotlinlang.slack.com/archives/C06V6SFE71D/p1716480105604759|Android source sets>.
