Is there a built-in way to add more padding to an existing PaddlingValues?

I want to add more padding from the one coming via the Material Scaffold . My whole screen is a LazyVerticalGrid so I can't just add a Modifier

PS: I know i can do PaddingValues(top = contentPadding.calculateTopPadding(), ...) but I am looking for a less verbose way

There's three separate issues for making it easier to add PaddingValues together (the first of which is from 2022), but like Stylianos said, you need to do this yourself right now: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues?q=Paddingvalues%20plus%20status:open

@Stylianos Gakis i am building self contained component functions and I do not want to rely on anything else but what Compose UI (and the standard libraries) gives you. that's why I don't want to create my own (extension) functions for this. I could have been more clear in my original message, but my brain was fried after hours of coding 😅
