I do agree with @Bryan Buschmann that people behavior might not change if the name is changed and I must admit that i made the mistake to not read the channel description at first;
when i see the name is android, i presume it is safe to ask anything about android.
but the fact that 11 out of the last 20 posts in the #android channel are not Kotlin says something, no?

may i suggest a channel called #not-kotlin that includes the links to the other communities and posting there is disabled?
