Similar issue with the capture library. It has issues and source code is nowhere to be found

Previous posts of him had the same thing. He promised source code, but this did not happen.

I don't know what the intention here is and even if the library is actually safe to use.
Maybe it contains backdoors of some kind.

Better be careful if there is no source code.

Yup. In my experience that's a huge security gotcha. Considering the kmp ecosystem is still nascent, even more chances of malware propagation
