Figured I'll share it here just once - I've been writing a Jetpack Compose focused newsletter called "Dispatch" over the past couple weeks and the response has been great so far.
Why it's different?
There's a lot of newsletters that already exist but most of them are simply link aggregators and I honestly don't have the time to go through all those links myself. I just want something that reliably gives me golden nuggets in 5 minutes or less. If it was entertaining, that'd be an added bonus. I want to feel like I learnt at least 1 new thing if I were to open an email to read it. That's what I'm hoping to accomplish with this newsletter.
Here are some of the recent editions to give you an idea of what to expect -
Issue #5: π€ Features our very own
@Zach Klippenstein (he/him) [MOD], the Android connection to Wordle, creating presentations using Compose, running Android Studio on Android and
@ComposableTarget
Issue #2: π¨ Features
@Leland Richardson [G], inside scoop from Google I/O, interesting updates from the event & a tip to using Gemini in Android Studio without compromising sensitive IP
Would love to hear what y'all think βπΌ
