Is there any place like pub.dev (for Flutter) that shows libs we can use in KMM?
r
c
Oh, that one is way better. Thanks for the link!
r
As far as I know @Big Chungus automatically crawls maven central in search for kotlin libs, but it seems a bit outdated at the moment.
h
Thank you guys. I feel KMM does need something like pub.dev. Super handy and valuable it would be.

wow, this looks good ๐Ÿ‘

klibs is good, but it doesn't index stuff that's not hosted on github ๐Ÿ˜•
r
it doesn't index my stuff from github as well ...
h
It shows it is in alpha verision.

I really should revive kamp to add new targets and restore the crawler... It hasn't been touched for so long that gh stopped scheduled actions which is why the index is outdated ๐Ÿ˜‚

Although I like klibs.io ui much better
c
KLibs' UI is great, but I don't like that it has a strong requirement on "you must be developed using GitHub". GitHub shouldn't be the gatekeeper of the Kotlin community.

How is klibs.io content updated?
c
It scans Central, looks at the SCM link, finds the GitHub, and uses that for the description, the stars, etc [at least that's what I remember from when it was announced a few months ago] If the SCM points to something else than GitHub, it ignores the lib
b
Shame it's closed source though :/
