Didn't we have a blueprint somewhere for contributing typings to action maintainers?
p
ah, I remember we had an example PR, but here I cannot find it 🤔
from my experience, creating a PR right away is not always the best way to go, some people want to discuss such stuff first via issues/discussion
v
The least projects, especially small ones like a GHA action, I know require that you first discuss in issues. And if so, you can always move over. 🙂 Especially if the actual work in the PR is not so time-consuming that you save a lot when getting denied in the issues already. And sometimes it can also help to see what changes are there.

FTR, here is a recent PR of mine didn't really conclude yet: https://github.com/benchmark-action/github-action-benchmark/pull/257

As soon as you reactivated Graphite or decided not to, you will find 5 of mine as PRs to the typing catalog, linked to the according upstream PRs 🙂

I think we shouldn't block on Graphite too much - could you just send these as regular PRs, and I'll take care of merging?
v
Depends on whether you will cope with the answer Joyce already gave you and just do it or decide not to, or whether you try to further convince them. :-) Right now I'm not at my computer anyway and am out for the most of the day.
