I think there's a way to configure this somewhere. Someone mentioned it a year or two ago.

I think it's the same thing I suggested — alt+enter opens a popup to configure imports excluded from completion, but the same thing is available in editor/general/auto import as well

This can be checked in to project as well btw, so the excluded imports are shared

Maybe that's what it was, I think it was file based.
